Indoor winter training sessions will be overseen by Coach John Banarhall, a talent development specialist who has coached and been a selector for many national level youth teams, he founded Amoskeag youth rugby in 1998, and has coached at West Point Military Academy. Coach Banarhall will be working to develop the NH Youth Rugby coaches beyond their USA Rugby Level 200 training and provide connections to help our players work into high potential pathways (the track to national teams) and competitive college teams.
The indoor winter sessions have an associated fee of $225 due to facilities use. Please reach out if you’d like to set up a payment plan or have trouble meeting costs.
A 12 passenger van is available to pick up seacoast area players at designated locations. We will also assist in creating carpooling groups. Contact Molly Campbell with questions or to join Van/Carpool from Seacoast at email@example.com
This rugby program is a fully inclusive sport and supports all players regardless of gender, race, or sexuality. Note that national USA Rugby offers team allocations as Male or Female, so you will be prompted to select which team you are interested in joining.

The primary goal of New Hampshire Youth Rugby (NHYR) is to bring rugby to the youth of coastal New Hampshire, providing them with the ability to learn and partake in the game of rugby. By doing this we hope to foster a love of the game, improve decision making skills, teach communication skills, and develop camaraderie between teammates, opposition players, referees, coaches, and spectators. NHYR and USA Rugby encourage a balanced attitude where players can develop and grow from the mental, emotional, and physical aspects of rugby.
